Request for Proposals (RFP) – FY 2015 Public Services and Homeless Programs.

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster, on behalf of Lancaster County, expects to receive funding from the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to operate the County’s Fiscal Year 2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions (ESG) Programs.

Applications will be distributed upon request to nonprofit organizations desiring to apply for Fiscal Year 2015 CDBG and ESG Funds for public services and homeless programs.  A list of eligible activities and specific program policies can be found at www.lchra.com.

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster and the City of Lancaster is issuing a joint Request for Proposals for services to end homelessness.

Completed Funding Request Applications are due to the Redevelopment Authority by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015.

The Authority will adhere to all application requirements and deadlines.  No waivers or extensions will be granted.

Grant Workshop for Homeless Services will be held Thursday November 13th at 9:00 a.m, Blair Room at 630 Janet Ave.

Grant Workshop for Public Services (non-homeless) will be held Thursday November 13th at 10:30 a.m Blair Room at 630 Janet Ave.

Applicants MUST submit a “Funding Request Letter of Intent” by Monday December 1st.  This step will insure that applicants have sufficient time to hold required public meetings; to complete required documentation; to plan and initiate any required income surveys; and to receive any necessary technical assistance from the Redevelopment Authority staff.  Once the Letter of Intent is received by the Redevelopment Authority, information on accessing the Application Packet will be provided.

All Funding Request Applications will be due to the Redevelopment Authority by 4:00Pm on Friday January 16th, 2015.
