Regional and County-wide planning which addresses housing, infrastructure, and water and sewer needs assists municipalities to carry out coordinated, well-considered projects.  Townships and boroughs can undertake planning projects independently or join together to address regional needs.

All planning projects must be endorsed by the Lancaster County Planning Commission prior to requesting Community Development Block Grant funding.

Organizations are notified of the availability of funds for planning activities in the spring of each year.  Funding is generally available beginning in January of the following year.  For more information, contact Justin Eby, Program Coordinator, at (717) 394-0793, extension 225 or by email.
