The members of the Board of the Lancaster County Housing Authority met Tuesday, September 27, 2005.  The meeting was held at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing Authority, 150 North Queen Street, Suite 120. 

Members of the Board in attendance were: Ralph Murray, Neil Kinsey, and Miriam Fletcher. Absent was Cindy Stewart, Chairman and Edward Hollinger, Vice Chairman.

Staff members present were: Randy S. Patterson, Executive Director; David M. Brazina, Deputy Executive Director; Teresa Danforth, Housing Services Director; Aimee Tyson, Community Development Director; Trish Schoor, Community Development Program Specialist; Steve Glatfelter; Community Development Program Assistant; Michael Brightbill, Controller; and Karen Bousquet, Secretary. 

Mr. Murray called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

Public Comment – None

Minutes of the August 23, 2005 meeting were accepted. The motion was made by Ms. Fletcher, second by Mr. Kinsey and unanimously accepted. 

Correspondence or Communications – None

Report of the Executive Director is attached hereto, made part hereof.

The Financial Report for the month of August 2005 was approved on a motion by Ms. Fletcher, second by Mr. Kinsey, and unanimously accepted. 

Committee Reports – None

Old Business – None

New Business:

1) The Board adopted the Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2006. The motion was made by Ms. Fletcher, second by Mr. Kinsey and unanimously carried. (A copy of said Resolution [Sept 05 #7] is attached hereto, and made a part hereof).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Lancaster County Housing Authority to adopt the attached Streamlined Annual Plan for the Year 2006; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize Authority staff to incorporate any modifications to said Plan that may be deemed appropriate as a result of public comment received on the Plan, with Board ratification to occur at the next scheduled meeting; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Chairman to sign the “Certifications of Compliance with the PHA Plans and Related Regulations” and submit said Plan to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Other Business – None

Mr. Murray announced that the next meeting of the Board of the Lancaster County Housing Authority is expected to be held Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at 4:00 p.m. at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, 150 North Queen Street, Suite 120, Lancaster, PA.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
