The members of the Board of the Lancaster County Housing Authority met Tuesday, April 24, 2007. 
The meeting was held at the office of the Lancaster County Housing Authority, 150 North Queen Street, Suite 120. 

Members of the Board in attendance were: Cindy Stewart, Chair; Neil Kinsey, Vice-Chair;
Ralph Murray and Miriam Fletcher.  Absent: James Shultz.

Staff members present were: Matthew T. Sternberg, Executive Director; David M. Brazina, Deputy Director; Teresa Danforth, Housing Services Director; Aimee Tyson, Community Development Director; Karen Bousquet, Community Development Program Assistant; and Marian Joyce, Secretary. 

The meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m.

Public Comment – None

Minutes of the March 27, 2007 meeting were approved. The motion was made by Mr. Kinsey, second by
Mr. Murray and unanimously accepted. 

Bills or Communications – None

Report of the Executive Director: is attached hereto, and made a part hereof. Mr. Sternberg presented a new format for the Monthly Activity and Status Report for the Housing Authority. Ms. Danforth answered questions from the Board regarding the Waiting List and Housing Voucher activity.  Further discussion centered on the lack of affordable rental units especially for larger families and the disabled, alternative ways the agency could support clients in their search, and the possibility of using CDBG funds.

Financial Report: The Treasurer’s Report for the month of March was approved on a motion by Mr. Kinsey, second by Ms. Fletcher, and unanimously accepted.

Ms. Stewart announced that the next meeting of the Board of the Lancaster County Housing Authority is expected to be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, 150 North Queen Street, Suite 120, Lancaster, PA.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:42 p.m.
