The members of the Board of the
Lancaster County Housing Authority met Tuesday,
August 28, 2007.
The meeting was held at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing Authority, 202 North Prince Street, Suite
400.
Members of the Board in attendance were: Cindy Stewart, Chairman; Neil Kinsey, Vice-Chairman; and Ralph Murray. Absent: Miriam Fletcher and Jim Shultz
Staff
members present were: Matthew T. Sternberg, Executive Director; David M. Brazina, Deputy
Director; Teresa Danforth, Housing Services Director; Aimee Tyson, Community
Development Director; Dale Kaufman, Technical Services Manager; Karen Bousquet,
Community Development Assistant; and Marian Joyce, Secretary.
Also present: Tom Eisemann
(Community Basics Inc.) and Jim Forester (Columbia Borough).
The meeting was called to order at 4:16 p.m.

Report of the Executive Director –
is attached hereto, and made a part hereof.
Mr. Sternberg reported that approximately 1,577 Section 8 Housing applications
were received. The forms are still being reviewed as information is entered in
the computer, so there is not yet an exact count. Ms. Danforth answered
questions from the Board regarding expectations for the Tabor Community
Services placement assistance program.
The Financial Report for the month of July was approved on a motion by Mr. Kinsey, second by Mr. Murray, and unanimously accepted.

Ms. Stewart announced that the next meeting of the Board of the Lancaster County Housing Authority is expected to be held Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, 202 North Prince Street, Suite 400, Lancaster, PA.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:26 p.m.
