IX.               NEW BUSINESS:

1.                  RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT WITH THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF LANCASTER, INC.

           

The Board is asked to approve the transfer of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) from Fiscal Year 2003 Community Development Block Grant Local Option Contingency Funds to the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster Camp Hogan Education Center project and to approve the execution of an amendment to the grant agreement which increases the grant amount to a new total of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00).  The additional grant funds will be used to provide an access road to the Center to meet ADA standards.

 

2.                  RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH LANCASTER COUNTY HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION.

 

The Board is asked to approve the execution of a contract with the Lancaster County Human Relations Commission to provided educational, preventative, and compliance programming related to problems of housing discrimination for a period beginning January 1, 2004 and terminating December 31, 2004 in an amount not to exceed Forty Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) of Fiscal Year 2004 Community Development Block Grant funds.

 

X.        OTHER BUSINESS:

 

            The next meeting of the Board of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2003, immediately following the 5:00 p.m. meeting of the Lancaster County Housing Authority in the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, 150 North Queen Street, 1st floor, Suite 120, Lancaster, PA.
