IX. NEW BUSINESS:
1. THE BOARD WILL CONSIDER TAKING ACTION ON A CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT FOR THE MULTI-PURPOSE STADIUM PROJECT.
2. RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE POLICIES OF THE HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
The Board is asked to pass a Resolution amending the Home Improvement Program policies related to eligible property types and liquid assets held by applicants as stated in Exhibit A.
3. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF A PROPOSAL FOR FUNDING WITH THE PA DEPT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DCED) FOR THE WALNUT STREET APARTMENTS PROJECT.
The Board is asked to pass a Resolution declaring that a blighting influence exists in Lititz Borough because of the non-conforming industrial use of a property in a residential neighborhood and that the proposed Walnut Street Apartments Project will prevent further blight and/or eliminate the existing influence by rehabilitating the structure so that it may be used as housing and conform to the predominant use of the neighborhood.
Further, the Board is asked to authorize submission of a proposal for funding with DCED for the Walnut Street Apartments Project and to authorize the Executive Director or the Director of Community Development to execute all documents related to the DCED funding.
X. OTHER BUSINESS:
The next meeting of the Board of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, immediately following the 5:00 p.m. meeting of the Lancaster County Housing Authority in the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, 150 North Queen Street, 1st floor, Suite 120, Lancaster, PA.
