1. Resolution Certifying a Blighting Influence at 510 Second Street, Lancaster, PA.
The Board is asked to declare that a blighting influence
exists in this vacant, historic, manufacturing facility in Lancaster City because of the condition of the Property and that the
proposed Project will prevent further blight and eliminate the existing
influence by rehabilitating the Property.
The Secretary of the Board is further directed to execute a certificate
attesting to the adoption of this Resolution and to furnish a copy of the
Resolution to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
(DCED).
2. Resolution Approving a Contract with United Disabilities Services.
The Board is asked to approve the execution of a contract with United Disabilities Services to complete accessibility renovations of two residence hall rooms and one restroom facility in the YWCA of Lancaster in an amount not to exceed $7,760.00 of Fiscal Year 2007 Community Development Block Grant funds.
X. Other Business
The next meeting of the Board of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster will be held May 22, 2007 immediately following the 4:00 p.m. meeting of the Lancaster County Housing Authority at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, 150 North Queen Street, 1st floor, Suite 120, Lancaster, PA.
