1. Resolution Approving a Contract Amendment with the Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership for the Operation of the Community Home Buyer Program
The Board is asked to increase the amount of the original contract to $500,000. This expanded operation of the Community Home Buyer Program would provide financial assistance to 25 additional lower income households.
2. Resolution Reserving Funding for the Country Club Apartments Project
The Board is asked to authorize an amendment to the reservation of funds letter reserving an additional $500,000 in HOME funds for the County Club Apartments project, to enable the Authority to assume the loan obligation of the Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (LHOP) for the project.
The Board is further asked to require LHOP to reimburse the
Authority for the additional $500,000 being provided by the Authority, in 50
monthly installments of $10,000 per month.
The Board is further asked to authorize the Executive Director or the Director of Community Development to execute all documents related to the transactions contemplated herein.
X. Other Business
The next meeting of the Board of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lancaster will be held May 27, 2008 immediately following the 4:30 p.m. meeting of the Lancaster County Housing Authority at the offices of the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, 202 North Prince Street, 4th floor, Suite 400, Lancaster, PA.
