HOMEOWNER
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The
Homeowner Assistance Program assists low income
homeowners with the costs related to curb/sidewalk
installations and water/sewer connections required by
local municipalities.
Eligibility:
In order to qualify, an applicant must be a low
income resident of Lancaster County (outside of the City
of Lancaster), and own and live in the home to be
rehabilitated. To be eligible for the program, an
applicant’s annual income may not exceed the maximum
income in the table below associated with their
household size.
Income Limits
Financial Assistance: A grant of up to $750
is available to assist a low income homeowner with the
cost of municipally mandated improvements. This is a
grant which does not need to be repaid.
