  • Homeless Assistance

  • Children and Youth Services

  • Adult and Senior Services

  • Domestic Violence Victim Services

  • Tenant and Landlord Services

PROGRAM POLICIES

  • Public service programs must meet at least one of the community goals adopted by the Lancaster County Commissioners. These goals are intended to promote: strong, stable families; safe communities; economic self-sufficiency; optimum physical and mental health; quality life-long learning; improved mobility; community-wide civic responsibility; and diverse arts and cultural recreational opportunities.

  • Programs must serve low and moderate income persons.

  • All organizations must have outcome measurements that will clearly explain the impact the services have had on the persons served and the community.

Organizations are notified of the availability of funds for public service activities in the winter of each year.  Funding is generally available beginning in July of the following year.  For more information, contact Steve Glatfelter, our Community Development Assistant, at (717) 394-0793, extension 209 or send us an email.
