The Lancaster County Redevelopment Authority is proposing to make changes to the Citizen Participation Plan related to Lancaster County’s Community Development Block Grant Program, HOME Investment Partnerships Program and the Emergency Solutions Grant Program related to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) (Public Law 116-136). The Redevelopment Authority intends to request waivers enabled by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to  allow flexibility in the public participation requirements for the use of Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) and Emergency Solutions Grant Coronavirus (ESG-CV) grants and Fiscal Years 2019 and 2020 funding for coronavirus planning, prevention and response. The amended Citizen Participation Plan is available here. The Amendment will be discussed at the April 28th Redevelopment Authority Board Meeting which will be held virtually through a zoom meeting.   Information for joining the meeting or for more information on the proposed amendments, contact Justin Eby at jeby@lchra.com or at (717) 394-0793 x 225. The public comment period for the amendment begins with this notice and ends on Thursday, April 30, 2020.
